Hotels slash costs and raise wages with federal productivity push

Hotels and resorts across the region are cutting costs and boosting efficiency with help from productivity experts. The changes come as part of the Labor Productivity federal project, now integrated into the national Efficient and Competitive Economy initiative. Businesses report faster operations, higher output, and wage increases for staff. The City of Peace Hotel, managed by Miracleon, has slashed room preparation times by more than a third. This improvement raised output by 53% and delivered an annual economic benefit of 5.5 million rubles. The company has also committed to a 10% wage rise for employees, effective from May 1, 2026, as part of its sustainable development plan.

At the *SEA GALAXY Hotel Congress & SPA*, engineering services are being optimised to speed up room readiness for guests. Meanwhile, *Nadezhda SPA & Sea Paradise Resort* overhauled its laundry workflows with expert guidance, achieving an 87% increase in staff productivity. Specialists from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) are assisting teams in adopting lean management techniques and refining logistics. Three hotels under the Rosa Khutor brand—*Hotel 28*, *Riders Lodge*, and *Philosophy of the Mountains*—are among 41 tourism businesses now using modern productivity tools. The *Labor Productivity* project, running since 2025, continues to support enterprises in improving efficiency.
