Dubai's Lantana Hills Breaks Ground as a Futuristic Gated Community

Dubai Holding Asset Management (DHAM) has begun work on Lantana Hills, a new premium gated community in Dubai Science Park. The development will feature 390 townhouses and is set to become one of the city’s most advanced residential projects. Construction is now underway, with handover expected in late 2027. Lantana Hills will offer 3- and 4-bedroom family homes designed around modern living. The community includes landscaped open spaces and shared amenities, ensuring a high quality of life for residents. Its location in Al Barsha South provides strong transport links, with Dubai Hills Mall just 10 minutes away, Mall of the Emirates 15 minutes, and Al Maktoum International Airport within 25 minutes.

DHAM has appointed Group AMANA as the main contractor under a AED 680 million agreement. The project will use modular construction methods through DuBox and DuPod for around 85% of the build. This approach aims to cut material waste by up to 30% and improve on-site safety by over 70%. The development is also targeting sustainability, having already secured LEED for Cities and Communities: Plan and Design Silver Precertification. Off-site manufacturing will produce 2,730 modular units and 2,020 bathroom pods, further reducing environmental impact. Lantana Hills represents a key expansion of DHAM’s managed residential leasing portfolio.

Lantana Hills is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027. The project combines modern design, sustainability, and efficient construction to create a future-ready community. Once finished, it will add to Dubai’s growing selection of high-quality residential developments.
