Travelodge to Open Largest Osaka Hotel in Shinsaibashi by 2026

Travelodge Hotels Asia has announced a major new opening in Osaka. The company will launch its largest Japanese hotel, Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi, in August 2026. A limited-time pre-order sale now offers guests a 50% discount on future stays. The hotel will stand in Minamisenba, Chuo Ward, right in the centre of Osaka’s bustling Shinsaibashi district. Its location places it just steps from Shinsaibashi Station’s North Exit 3, ensuring easy access for visitors. A short 10-minute walk will take guests to Dotonbori, famous for its neon lights and lively street food stalls.

With over 300 rooms, the property will become the largest Travelodge in Japan and one of the biggest hotels in the Shinsaibashi area. Accommodation options will cater to solo travellers, couples, small groups, and families. Nearby attractions include Amerikamura’s trendy shops, the grand Midōsuji boulevard, Namba Parks shopping complex, and the business hubs of Honmachi and Yodoyabashi. The new hotel aligns with the company’s broader growth plans. Travelodge Hotels Asia aims to expand its portfolio to more than 50 properties across the region by 2030.

Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi is set to open in mid-2026. Its central location and variety of room types position it as a key choice for visitors exploring Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Namba. The ongoing pre-order discount provides an early incentive for travellers planning future trips to Osaka.
