ZEST Security launches AI-driven cloud risk platform with $5M funding
ZEST Security, a New York-based tech company, has emerged from stealth mode with a new AI-powered platform. The firm, co-founded by Snir Ben Shimol and Uri Aronovici, has also secured $5 million in seed funding to expand its operations in cloud risk resolution.
The funding round was led by Hanaco Ventures, a venture capital fund with offices in New York and Tel Aviv. Silvertech Ventures, an accelerator specialising in tech start-ups, also joined as a lead investor. Additional backing came from Tenacity Venture Capital and Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused investment fund.
With fresh funding in place, ZEST Security will now focus on scaling its cloud risk solution. The investment from multiple venture firms highlights growing interest in AI-powered cybersecurity tools. The company’s dual presence in New York and Tel Aviv positions it for global expansion.
