DOM.RF to Auction Off Three Cultural Landmarks, Including Madrid Hotel

Yekaterinburg's White Tower and two other landmarks head to auction

DOM.RF will put up for auction not only the Madrid Hotel but also two other heritage-listed properties: the White Tower on Bakinsky Komissarov Street and the "House with a Mezzanine"—part of the G.I. Yelizaryev Estate at 6 Belinsky Street—according to a statement from Moscow's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy (DIIP).

The White Tower, a water tower in Uralmash, the socialist industrial district of Yekaterinburg, is an architectural monument built in the Constructivist style between 1929 and 1931. Considered one of the city's symbols, it features prominently on logos, postcards, and souvenirs. The tower is frequently mentioned in both professional and popular publications, often listed alongside other iconic landmarks.
