EFSS Executive Exchange: Industry Leaders Connect in Barcelona
European Foodservice Summit unveils 2025–2026 events and key industry themes
Seventy of Spain's top hospitality professionals gathered for the EFSS Executive Exchange at Gloria Osteria (Big Mamma Group) in Barcelona.
In Barcelona, leading figures from Spain's foodservice sector came together for a dynamic, face-to-face dialogue—engaging, collaborative, and full of energy. The event was hosted by the European Foodservice Summit (EFSS).
On March 23, around 70 key players from Spain's hospitality industry convened at the EFSS Executive Exchange, including established foodservice brands, investors, association representatives, and strategic partners. The exclusive gathering provided a prime opportunity to forge valuable connections and deepen discussions on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. The European Foodservice Summit organized the event, with support from WhiteSpace Partners, McWin Capital Partners, DMK, Alimentaria, and Marcas de Restauración.
Putting a Face to the Industry
The atmosphere buzzed with lively conversations and an immediate sense of connection. New contacts were made, existing relationships strengthened, and discussions opened space for professional exchange. As one attendee put it: "It's a rare chance to finally put a face to the names we know." This direct, personal engagement is what defines the EFSS Executive Exchange.
The Executive Exchanges extend the European Foodservice Summit's mission year-round, serving as satellite events that strengthen local networks, foster in-person dialogue, and bring together decision-makers from across the hospitality sector.
EFSS Executive Exchange Heads to Berlin
Following stops in Turkey and Barcelona, the series will continue in Milan, Berlin, and Cannes in the coming months. The first EFSS Executive Exchange in Germany will take place on August 25 in Berlin, uniting leaders from the country's top foodservice companies to discuss industry trends, innovations, and strategic developments.
The flagship industry event, the European Foodservice Summit, will be held this year from September 15–17 in Madrid, with the full program to be announced soon on the official website.
