Tech Giant Explores Green Hydrogen in Chile, Backs Local Industry

The company has initiated talks with key players like SMS group and potentially other energy sector companies to develop and produce hydrogen and its derivatives in Chile. Its 'Grid-to-Stack' solutions portfolio supports off-grid systems, crucial for areas requiring 'island' mode operation. Mario Marchese, president of the Magallanes Green Hydrogen Association, praised the company's role in supporting green hydrogen projects with equipment and energy management systems.
Jorge Tamayo, Business Development Manager - Hydrogen & Sustainability at the company's Chile office, has engaged with main companies developing and prospecting hydrogen, ammonia, and derivative projects in the country. Rebeca Poleo, president of the Chilean Hydrogen Association (H2 Chile), emphasized the importance of events like Hyvolution in fostering partnerships and closing knowledge gaps in the industry.
