Simba TVS Kargo Revamps Nigeria's Logistics with Durable, Fuel-Efficient Tricycles

Simba TVS Kargo is transforming Nigeria's logistics landscape with its durable, fuel-efficient tricycles. The company operates over 165 units nationwide, replacing unreliable imported trucks. These tricycles, backed by warranties and customization options, fill the gap between motorcycles and pickup trucks, carrying 400-550kg.

Simba TVS has invested heavily in supporting its Kargo units. It has committed over ₦20 billion to service and support infrastructure, including a 24-hour helpline and a 'Service on Wheel' campaign to minimize downtime for operators. The company has also trained 50,000 mechanics and runs youth training programs, ensuring reliability and job creation.

The Kargo units are designed to reach remote areas. Specialized models like the Ambulance Tricycle navigate rough terrain, with major deliveries made to Taraba State, Port Harcourt, and Lafia, Abuja. Over 15,000 technicians have been certified in partnership with the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), and orientation sessions are provided for riders.

Leading distributors such as Multipro and Tolaram are replacing costly trucks with over 165 Kargo units. With over 35 years of engineering expertise, Simba TVS is positioning Kargo as the future of last-mile mobility in Nigeria.

Simba TVS Kargo is becoming a permanent fixture in Nigeria's logistics ecosystem, with plans to expand to hospitals, churches, farms, SMEs, NGOs, and government agencies. The company's commitment to durability, affordability, and practicality is revolutionizing last-mile logistics in the country, supporting sectors such as agriculture, FMCG distribution, and healthcare.
