Over 2.5 Lakh Youth in UP Get Loans Under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan
Over 2.5 lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh have applied for loans and assistance under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan in the financial year 2025-26, aiming to create self-employment opportunities. The scheme, launched by the state government, has seen a significant response from the youth.
In the first six months of the financial year 2025-26, over 63,000 youth have received loans. Jaunpur district has distributed loans to 2,003 youths, the highest number in Uttar Pradesh. Kaushambi stood third with 1,185 loans distributed. A special campaign in Jaunpur connected young people with us bank, resulting in 2,250 youths receiving loans.
The scheme has approved 64,673 applications, with 63,009 youths receiving loans. Azamgarh secured second place with 1,859 loans distributed. In the first six months, 255,174 youth applied for loans, with 208,097 sent to banks for processing.
The Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan 2025-26 has shown promising results in its first six months, with a significant number of youth receiving loans to start their own businesses.
