ONYX and Yee Fung Group unveil sleek new Shenzhen hotel for 2026
ONYX Hospitality Group has teamed up with Yee Fung Group to launch a new hotel in southern China. The Y Hotel Nanshan Shenzhen is set to open in late 2026, offering 82 rooms and suites in a key business district. The location places guests near major tech hubs, transport links, hotels near me, and tourist spots.
The hotel will sit in Nanshan, a district known for its strong transport connections. Five national sea and land ports serve the area, while Shenzhen Baoan International Airport is just 35 minutes away. Shenzhen North Railway Station is even closer, at 31 minutes by road.
Guests will also find themselves near leading industries like artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and biomedicine. Shopping centres and cultural attractions are within easy reach, making the hotel a convenient base for both business and leisure travellers. ONYX Hospitality Group, which manages brands such as Amari, OZO, and Shama, aims to expand its portfolio to over 75 properties by 2030. The company specialises in hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments across Asia.
Y Hotel Nanshan Shenzhen is scheduled to welcome its first guests in the fourth quarter of 2026. The 82-room property will add to ONYX’s growing presence in China, offering easy access to transport, technology firms, and local attractions. The partnership with Yee Fung Group marks another step in the company’s expansion plans.
