LEAD Intelligent Equipment has been quietly equipping battery manufacturers with advanced dry battery electrode mixing and coating systems. While the specific companies remain unnamed, the impact of these systems is undeniable.

The systems can handle electrode sheets up to 1,000 millimeters wide and thicknesses ranging from 40 to 300 microns. They enable simultaneous processing of multiple sheets, from two to six, ensuring scalability. Recent deliveries include machines for dry electrode coating, lamination, decaling, electrode framing, high-speed stacking, and formation and aging.

Operating at mechanical speeds of up to 100 meters per minute, these systems lower material and manufacturing costs by over 15 percent. They support single-line production capacities between 5 and 8 GWh, making them suitable for various production scales. Notably, the system can adapt to both all-solid-state and liquid electrolyte battery lines, facilitating technology transitions.

LEAD Intelligent Equipment has successfully delivered multiple dry electrode mixing and coating systems to battery manufacturers. Field validation has shown these systems reduce energy consumption by over 35 percent. Despite the secrecy surrounding the recipient companies, the benefits of these systems are clear, contributing to more efficient and cost-effective battery production.
