Kyzylorda's housing boom delivers 655 new homes to families in 2024

Hundreds of families in Kyzylorda have recently moved into new homes as part of a major housing push. Since January, 655 households have received keys to freshly built apartments. The city’s construction drive has been backed by nearly 58 billion tenge in budget funding. Two key ceremonies marked the latest phase of the project. On the left bank of the Syr Darya River, 240 families collected keys to apartments in six high-rise buildings. Employees of Turkish firm Aksa Enerji Kyzylorda were among those settling into their new homes.

The Turan residential complex also reached a milestone with the completion of its first seven-storey block. Classed as 'comfort plus', this building is part of a larger development that will eventually house 380 apartments. The remaining structures are set for completion in October.

So far, the budget has funded 31 residential buildings across the city. By the end of the year, an additional 1,581 apartments will be ready for occupancy. The housing programme continues to expand, with more families set to benefit in the coming months. With ongoing construction and scheduled completions, Kyzylorda’s residential capacity will grow significantly before 2025.
