Ari Motors accelerates into autonomous delivery with 200 self-driving vans by 2025

Ari Motors is expanding into autonomous delivery vehicles through a new partnership. The company, known for importing and rebranding Chinese electric vans, has joined forces with Faction Technology. Together, they plan to produce the first 200 self-driving delivery units by the end of this year.

A separate venture, Arvia, is also preparing to go public on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market. The move aims to attract international investors as the company pushes into new markets. Ari Motors has long specialised in bringing Chinese-made commercial electric vehicles to Europe. Their latest project shifts focus to autonomous delivery technology. A letter of intent was signed with Faction Technologies and TUGA Innovations to develop self-driving vans.

The first prototype of this new vehicle is set for completion in May. If testing goes as planned, the company expects to deliver 200 units before 2025. Over the next three years, they project demand for up to 10,000 autonomous delivery vehicles.

Meanwhile, Ari Motors has also showcased a compact camper van based on its Ari 458 Pro model. Marketed as 'Germany’s smallest camper van,' it highlights the company’s versatility in electric vehicle adaptations.

The newly formed company, Arvia, is now gearing up for an initial public offering. By listing on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market, it hopes to secure funding for further expansion and innovation in autonomous transport. The first 200 autonomous delivery vehicles are scheduled for production this year. With a prototype due in May, Ari Motors is moving quickly into self-driving technology. Arvia’s upcoming stock market listing could provide the financial backing needed to scale up operations in the coming years.
