Jarleth Heneghan Wins 2026 Client Choice Award for Construction in Ireland
Ireland's Top Construction Lawyer Wins Client Choice Award for Third Year
Jarleth Heneghan, a Partner in William Fry's Projects Department and Construction & Engineering Sector, has been named the exclusive 2026 Client Choice Award winner for Construction in Ireland.
Jarleth was presented with the prestigious award at the Lexology Client Choice Awards event at Church House Westminster, London. The Client Choice Awards recognise lawyers who stand apart for excellence in client service and the ability to add real value to their clients' businesses. This marks the third consecutive year that Jarleth has received the Client Choice Award for Construction in Ireland, a distinction achieved by only a small minority of Client Choice winners globally.
Jarleth advises state bodies, developers, international clients and intermediaries, financial institutions, professionals and contractors on both contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters. His practice spans complex projects, procurement and dispute resolution across the full lifecycle of major developments.
Recent and ongoing highlights include advising on the development financing and construction of Google Ireland's Boland's Quay office and residential development, and on the redevelopment of the net-zero carbon Irish Life headquarters campus. He also advises the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications on the rollout and operation of the National Broadband Plan, the largest construction project ever undertaken in Ireland, as well as EirGrid on emergency power generation projects and daa on the procurement and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Dublin Airport.
Upon receiving the award, Jarleth said, "I am very pleased to receive this recognition for the third year running. The Client Choice Awards are particularly meaningful as they reflect the experience of clients and I am grateful to those who took the time to nominate me."
Stephen Keogh, Managing Partner at William Fry said, "This recognition of Jarleth for a third consecutive year speaks to his standing as one of Ireland's leading construction lawyers. His technical expertise and commercial insights have made him a trusted adviser on some of the most significant and complex construction projects in the Irish market, reflecting our solutions-led and innovative approach to client service at William Fry."
