Residents who spend long periods away from home may now apply for recalculations on certain utility bills. The rules cover several services, but not all charges can be adjusted. Applications must be submitted in person to receive confirmation. Recalculations are available for cold and hot water supply, wastewater disposal, and gas supply. However, gas charges cannot be adjusted if a boiler remained in use during the absence. Solid waste removal fees also qualify in some cases, with requests handled by regional waste operators.

Heating and common property maintenance costs (ODN) will still be billed at standard rates, regardless of residency. To request a recalculation, residents must visit designated offices in person. These include property management companies (UK), homeowners’ associations (TSZh), or Multifunctional Centers (MFC). A receipt will be issued as proof of submission. The process requires residents to apply directly at approved locations. Only specific utilities are eligible, while others remain fixed. Those seeking adjustments should prepare to provide proof of absence and submit their requests at the correct office.
