Global Engineering Talent Converges at CASE-IN Championship in Moscow
The 14th season of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN will reach its climax in Moscow from May 20 to 22. Over 760 students and young professionals from Russia and 13 other countries will gather to present innovative solutions in key economic sectors. The event has grown into the world’s largest engineering case-solving contest, backed by major organisations and government platforms. The championship is organised by the 'Reliable Change' Foundation, the 'Russia – Land of Opportunity' platform, the Youth Forum of Mining Industry Leaders, and Astralogika LLC. Support also comes from Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian Energy Agency, and the CIS Electric Power Council’s Executive Committee. This year’s final will take place at the National University of Science and Technology (MISIS), where 208 teams from 70 universities will compete.
The participants will tackle challenges in 13 categories, including architecture, construction, petrochemistry, biotechnology, and thermal power engineering. Among the competitors are six teams from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, representing institutions like Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, and the Dzerzhinsk Polytechnic Institute. These teams will vie in fields such as project engineering, thermal power, and housing utilities.
The championship offers tangible rewards for winners. Top performers in student categories will gain preferential entry to master’s and doctoral programs at 36 partner universities. They will also secure paid internships at leading companies in their respective industries. The CASE-IN final will bring together young engineers from across Russia, the CIS, and BRICS nations, with 23 international teams joining the competition. The event provides a platform for emerging talent to showcase skills, connect with industry leaders, and advance their careers. Winners will leave with academic advantages and professional opportunities in top firms.
