GLDD Secures $130M in Dredging Contracts, Showcasing Industry Strength
Great Lakes Dredge & Dock (GLDD) has secured a significant number of contracts worth over $130 million in the third quarter. The company, a leading provider of dredging services in the United States, has been awarded seven projects across various regions.
GLDD kicked off the quarter with a substantial $26.9 million maintenance contract for the South Atlantic Division (SAD) Regional Harbor Dredging. This was followed by a $14 million maintenance contract for East Rockaway Inlet in New York. However, the specific clients for these projects remain undisclosed.
The company also secured a $26.9 million project for the Mississippi River, from Baton Rouge to the Gulf, known as the Head of Passes Project. Additionally, GLDD was awarded an $8.7 million contract for the Indian River Inlet North Beach Renourishment and a $25.5 million maintenance contract at Baltimore Harbor and Channels.
Other notable wins include an $11.7 million contract for the McLellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Station Dredging Project and a $19.2 million contract for the Delray Beach Renourishment.
With these seven work awards, GLDD demonstrates its continued strength and versatility in the dredging industry, successfully securing a diverse range of projects across different regions and clients.
