Discovery Education Unveils 2025-2026 Report, New Resources for Students
Discovery Education has unveiled the Education Insights 2025-2026: Fueling Learning Through Engagement report, along with a host of new resources and virtual experiences for students and educators.
The report, launched by Discovery Education, explores trends and insights in education, aiming to fuel learning and engagement. To bring the world of steel to life, Discovery Education has introduced 'Forging Innovation: A Mission Possible Virtual Field Trip'. This immersive experience allows students to explore the role of steel in architecture and engineering.
Discovery Education is also hosting a webinar on October 8, 2025, to delve into the findings of the Education Insights report, providing educators with valuable insights. In celebration of Workforce Development Month, the platform has introduced new resources for career exploration, empowering students to learn about various industries and professions.
Among the new resources are 'HARVEST: From Seed to Success', which allows students to step into the role of a farmer and learn about agriculture, and 'Haul! Learning Experience', a 3D exploration of a copper mine that teaches students about the use of copper in everyday life. Additionally, Career Connect on Discovery Education Experience enables educators to request virtual classroom visits from industry professionals, while the Careers Hub offers career resources, skill-building activities, and virtual field trips. The STEM Careers Coalition has also launched 'Operation Communication', an immersive game focusing on workplace communication skills. Lastly, 'Careers at Sea and Shore: A Virtual Field Trip to Maritime Manufacturing Centers' provides students with an inside look at the process of building submarines.
