Birchcliff Energy Shareholders Elect Directors and Auditors in 2026 Meeting
Birchcliff Energy Ltd. held its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on May 14, 2026. During the meeting, shareholders voted on key appointments, including the election of directors and the selection of auditors for the company. All seven proposed director nominees were elected by shareholders. Christopher Carlsen secured the highest approval at 98.24%, followed closely by Debra Gerlach with 97.34%. Cameron Proctor also received strong backing, earning 96.73% of the votes.
A. Jeffery Tonken was elected with 88.03% support, while Stacey McDonald received 90.47%. James Surbey followed with 86.82% of the votes. Dennis Dawson was elected with 61.26%, the lowest approval among the nominees. Shareholders also voted overwhelmingly to appoint KPMG LLP as the company’s auditors. The proposal received near-unanimous support, with 99.26% of votes in favour.
