Berlin’s Köpenick Welcomes ‘CÖ’, a Modern Residential Complex Finished Early

A new residential complex in Berlin’s Köpenick district has been finished weeks earlier than planned. The development, known as 'CÖ', stands at the corner of Hämmerlingstraße and Annenallee, replacing what was once a car dealership. Designed by the Berlin-based firm Nöfer Architekten, it brings 120 apartments and three additional residential units to the area.

The project sits on a 6,000-square-metre plot, reshaping the streetscape along Hämmerlingstraße. Its closed block-edge design creates a clearer urban boundary, while a landscaped courtyard garden at the rear offers green space for residents. Several apartments also come with private gardens.

The early completion of 'CÖ' introduces modern housing options to Köpenick. With its mix of apartment sizes, green spaces, and parking facilities, the complex meets varied residential needs. The project also marks a visible change to the local streetscape, reinforcing the area’s urban structure.
