Wolfenbüttel's Luxury Housing Project Living by the Oker Breaks Ground
Demolition work has started at 1–3 Lindener Straße in Wolfenbüttel to make way for a new luxury housing project. Named Living by the Oker, the development will include two high-end apartment buildings, a commercial space, and green communal areas. Over 50 potential buyers have already shown interest in the upscale properties.
The project is being led by Moretti Wohn- und Bauprojekte GmbH. It will feature 20 premium apartments, ranging from 74 to 124 square metres, with prices between €399,100 and €696,200. Construction costs for the development average around €5,000 per square metre, reflecting the project's focus on the premium market.
To maintain a car-free environment, an underground parking garage will be built. The complex will also include a communal pavilion beside the Oker river and a dedicated children's play area. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2023, with completion and the first move-ins expected by late 2027. The high-end design and location have already attracted significant attention. With more than 50 prospective buyers registered, demand for the apartments appears strong even before work fully begins.
The Living by the Oker development will transform the site into a modern residential area with upscale living spaces and shared amenities. Completion is set for late 2027, with construction costs and pricing positioning the project firmly in the premium segment. The inclusion of underground parking and green spaces aims to create a balanced, car-free environment for future residents.
