Samotics Raises €14.5 Million in Series A

Samotics, a Netherlands-based leader in industrial performance and energy efficiency, has secured €14.5 million in Series A funding. The investment round was led by global venture capital firm 83North, with additional backing from InnovationQuarter and Inkef Capital. The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations and enhance its AI-driven technology platform.

The fresh capital will help Samotics grow its customer base in both existing and new markets. The company also aims to attract top talent in technology and business to strengthen its team. Its AI-powered platform analyses electrical signatures to prevent equipment failures and boost energy efficiency.

The solution is already in use across key industries, including wastewater, steel, and chemicals. By scaling this technology, Samotics hopes to make a measurable impact on global electricity consumption. 83North took the lead in the funding round, joined by Dutch investor InnovationQuarter and previous backer Inkef Capital. The investment will accelerate the development of Samotics’ platform, further improving its ability to deliver real-time insights for industrial optimisation.

With €14.5 million in new funding, Samotics is now positioned to expand its market reach and refine its technology. The company’s focus remains on reducing energy waste and preventing costly asset failures. This investment marks a significant step in its mission to enhance industrial efficiency worldwide.
