Mutares Stock: December Brought a Transaction Fireworks Show!
Mutares, a private equity firm listed on Germany’s SDAX, made several key moves in December 2025. The company completed strategic sales and acquisitions, reshaping its portfolio while strengthening its market position. Shareholders have watched closely as the firm’s stock price remained steady above key technical thresholds.
One of the month’s biggest deals was the sale of Fuentes Quality Logistics, a logistics provider with annual revenue of around €200 million. The buyer, a consortium led by Ontime-Franchise, helped Mutares secure a significant earnings boost from the transaction.
Mutares also expanded its Scandinavian operations by acquiring Sweden’s M3 Group, a specialist in transport, construction, and equipment rental services. The group, which includes M3 Schakt AB, M3 Rental AB, and Schaktförmedlingen Sverige AB, generates €35 million in revenue. This purchase strengthens GDL Anläggning & Miljö, another Mutares holding, and broadens the firm’s footprint in the region. Another major addition was the crane division of JOST, a business with €100 million in revenue and 400 employees. Though JOST’s production sites are in Italy, Brazil, and China, the acquisition gives Mutares a globally recognised crane manufacturer and distributor. On the divestment side, Mutares reduced its stake in the listed Terranor Group from 72% to 57%. The firm placed 2.5 million shares with qualified investors, raising approximately €6 million in gross proceeds. Market analysts have noted positive momentum in Mutares’ stock, which currently trades at €29.30. The price remains above its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, suggesting stability. Technical indicators show consolidation between €25 and €35, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) just under 60—neither overbought nor oversold.
Mutares’ December transactions reflect a strategy of targeted expansion and portfolio optimisation. With new assets in logistics, construction, and crane manufacturing, the firm has reinforced its international presence. Meanwhile, its stock continues to trade within a stable range, supported by strong technical indicators.
