Minsk-area land auction draws strong bids for residential plots

An auction for residential land plots took place recently near Minsk. Two parcels were sold in villages under the Ozertkovich-Slobodskoy rural council in Smalyavichy District. The sale follows another plot in Sosnovy that fetched 179,000 rubles last month. Lot No. 1, located at 35 Pridorozhnaya Street in Sosnovy, covers 11.9 hundred square metres. The site includes access to electricity, gas, and water connections. Its proximity to the Khatyn Memorial and just 15 km from the Minsk Ring Road added to its appeal. With a starting price of 80,000 rubles, it sold for 128,800 rubles (around $47,000).

Lot No. 2, a larger 18.5-hundred-square-metre parcel, is situated in Rudomeyka at 1A Tsentralnaya Street. This plot offers electricity and gas connections but no water supply. Roughly 25 km from the Minsk Ring Road, it had a starting price of 45,000 rubles. Bidding pushed the final sale price to 170,500 rubles (about $62,400). Both plots attracted buyers despite differing sizes and starting prices. The auction results reflect ongoing demand for residential land near Minsk. The sold parcels will now move forward for development under their new owners.
