Latham & Watkins Strengthens Houston M&A Team with Private Equity Veteran

Latham & Watkins has bolstered its M&A and private equity practice in Houston with the appointment of Max Klupchak as a partner. Klupchak brings a decade of experience as General Counsel at The Sterling Group, a Texas-based private equity firm.

Klupchak's expertise lies in middle-market private equity transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, mergers, and minority investments. His industry-specific experience spans business services, distribution, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

Nick Dhesi, managing partner of the Houston office, welcomes Klupchak, citing his deep understanding of the Texas and US private equity ecosystem. Alex Kelly, global co-chair of the firm's M&A and private equity practice, highlights Klupchak's unique perspective as an in-house private equity lawyer and his commercial insight as valuable assets to the firm's clients.
