This building is likely a power plant, as indicated by the sign boards indicating that it is one of the best power plants in Germany.

Langen's Neurott Park Welcomes a Sustainable 22-Unit Commercial Hub by 2027

A new commercial complex is set to rise in Langen's Neurott industrial park after GreenPlaces Germany acquired a 50,000-square-foot plot. The project will transform the former site of Ross Europa's demolished headquarters into 22 modular units, available for lease or purchase. Construction is planned to start in late summer 2026, with completion due a year later. The development at 2 Robert-Bosch-Straße will feature 22 units, each averaging around 1,550 square feet. Every unit includes a large rolling door, a separate entrance, and two dedicated parking spaces. GreenPlaces Germany will use serial timber-frame construction, a method recognised for its sustainability.

The site was sold by LIG Bau GmbH, a Langen-based company. Before demolition, it housed the former Ross Europa headquarters. The land will be handed over in a leveled condition, ready for the new build. This project follows GreenPlaces' expansion strategy, with plans for at least one more location in Markdorf by 2026. The company's concept recently won the Immobilienmanager Award 2026 in the Sustainability & Social Responsibility category.

The Langen-Neurott complex will offer flexible commercial space for businesses looking to lease or buy. With construction beginning in late 2026, the development aims to meet demand in one of Germany's economically strong regions. The use of timber-frame methods aligns with the company's focus on sustainable building practices.
