KIND to Open New Hearing Aid and Optical Store in Wolfsburg by 2027
A new KIND specialty store for hearing aids and optical products will open in Wolfsburg's city centre by the third quarter of 2027. The shop will occupy a 250-square-metre space on the ground floor of the BRAWO Arkaden development. Its arrival marks another step in expanding the area's retail and service options.
The first phase of BRAWO Arkaden is currently under construction at Porschestraße 60–66. The project covers around 17,000 square metres of above-ground space, including 4,500 square metres of retail area and 82 rental apartments. Ten percent of these flats will be subsidised, and all will be fully accessible.
KIND previously operated from Porschestraße 60 before temporarily relocating to Porschestraße 58 during construction. The company will now return to its original site as part of the new development. Kerstin Lüdecke, the store manager, expressed enthusiasm about joining the BRAWO Arkaden community. René Wolfert, Head of Real Estate and Expansion at KIND, highlighted the benefits of the modern premises. He noted that the new space would allow the company to enhance its consulting services, hearing acoustics, and optical offerings in a contemporary setting. The BRAWO Arkaden quarter will also feature a landscaped inner courtyard with play and relaxation areas. An underground car park with 95 spaces and additional short-term surface parking will serve visitors. Claudia Kayser, Head of the Wolfsburg Directorate at Volksbank BRAWO, described KIND's early commitment as a positive signal for the quarter's sustainable growth.
The KIND store will be the first confirmed tenant in the BRAWO Arkaden's initial phase. Its opening in late 2027 will add to the city centre's retail variety and improve convenience for customers. The development aims to create a modern, accessible hub for shopping, living, and leisure.
