Indore's property rates set for major revision in 2026 draft proposal

The District Valuation Committee in Indore has proposed new guideline rates for over 2,600 colonies. The draft also includes 158 additional locations not previously covered. Residents will soon have a chance to review and comment on the changes.

The committee has finalised a proposal to raise collector guideline rates across Indore district. Alongside the 2,600 existing colonies, 158 new sites have been added to the list for 2026. Some areas will see revised increases, while others face higher rates than initially planned.

From March 16 to March 21, 2026, the proposed rates will be displayed at the District Registrar's office and all Sub-Registrar branches. Citizens can submit feedback via WhatsApp at 9893320632 or 9770426465, or email [email protected]. The public review period begins this Monday. After collecting suggestions and objections, the committee will meet again to assess the input. The finalised proposal will then be sent to the Central Valuation Board for approval.

The seven-day public consultation allows residents to shape the updated rates before submission. Once approved, the new guidelines will apply to property valuations across Indore. The process ensures transparency before final decisions are made.
