IHCL to Launch First Vivanta Hotel In Vellore In Partnership With BBK Group

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is set to open its first Vivanta hotel in Vellore. The new 100-room property will mark a key addition to the city’s expanding hospitality sector. It follows a partnership with local business leader Baskaran, promoter of the BBK Group.

The Vivanta Vellore will stand as a modern landmark in the city’s fast-growing education and industrial hub. Its design will blend contemporary style with practical amenities, including all-day dining, flexible meeting spaces, and a 2,500 sq ft banquet hall.

IHCL has joined forces with Baskaran, whose BBK Group operates in leather, footwear, and leather goods. The family-owned business brings local expertise to the project, while IHCL contributes its hospitality experience. Vellore’s improving transport links and infrastructure have also made it an attractive location for the new venture.

The hotel’s arrival will expand Vellore’s options for business and leisure travellers. With 100 keys and modern facilities, it aims to serve the city’s growing demand for quality accommodation. The partnership between IHCL and BBK Group signals confidence in the region’s future as a hospitality destination.
