FTSE 100 shake-up: EasyJet and Hikma exit as IG Group climbs in
Changes are coming to the UK's FTSE 100 index in March. EasyJet and Hikma Pharmaceuticals will both drop out of the top-flight share index. Their places will be taken by IG Group and Liontrust Asset Management.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals will also be demoted to the FTSE 250. The pharmaceutical firm's stock market position has weakened compared to others in the index.
Taking their spots will be IG Group and Liontrust Asset Management. Both companies have grown in market value, securing their place among the UK's largest listed firms. The exact performance figures for these two were not detailed in available reports.
