Emerita Resources Hits Westward High-Grade Extensions at El Cura
Emerita Resources Corp. has revealed impressive results from its ongoing diamond drilling at the El Cura deposit, part of its wholly-owned Iberian Belt West project. The company has intersected high-grade mineralization, expanding the deposit westward by at least 90 meters.
Drill hole EC080, one of the latest results, intercepted an exceptional 4.1-meter interval grading 3.9% copper, 3.6% lead, 8.5% zinc, 4.08 g/t gold, and 96.39 g/t silver. This includes a higher-grade 1.4-meter section with 5.7% copper, 4.1% lead, 9.7% zinc, 3.89 g/t gold, and 102.86 g/t silver. This significant find extends the mineralization to the west.
Other notable drill holes include EC069, which returned a 3.8-meter interval grading 1.8% copper, 2.3% lead, 6.2% zinc, 3.60 g/t gold, and 70.24 g/t silver, with a higher-grade 1.0-meter section grading 3.3% copper, 3.5% lead, 10.1% zinc, 5.89 g/t gold, and 103.50 g/t silver. Drill hole EC070 also showed promising results with a 2.5-meter interval grading 1.2% copper, 0.4% lead, 1.2% zinc, 4.37 g/t gold, and 33.40 g/t silver, including a 1.0-meter section grading 1.8% copper, 0.3% lead, 1.3% zinc, 10.05 g/t gold, and 40.00 g/t silver.
These latest results continue to demonstrate the potential of the El Cura deposit. Emerita Resources Corp. has approved an additional 12,000 meters of drilling to further expand and define the deposit. The company's ongoing exploration efforts at El Cura are expected to provide more insights into the extent and quality of the mineralization.
