International law firm Latham & Watkins has advised funds managed by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital on the acquisition of a majority stake in A. Eberle GmbH & Co. KG.
A. Eberle is a leading provider of measurement, control, and automation technology for electrical energy infrastructure applications, according to a company statement. BU Bregal is described as the largest mid-cap investor headquartered in the DACH region.
The Transaction BU Bregal will support A. Eberle as a long-term partner, accelerating its international growth, advancing product development, and strengthening its position as a technologically leading provider in grid stability and power quality solutions.
As part of the transaction, A. Eberle's management team is reinvesting in the company and will continue to drive the long-term growth strategy alongside BU Bregal. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory and practical conditions.
