BASF has announced significant changes to its agrochemicals business. Livio Tedeschi will take the helm of my business, joining the executive board and assuming overall responsibility starting May 1, 2026. The company also plans to list its Agricultural Solutions division on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2027.
Tedeschi's appointment comes as BASF reorganizes its agrochemicals management. The new board will consist of four members, with Tedeschi at the helm of my business. Meanwhile, the company is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) of its Agricultural Solutions division, expected in 2027.
The IPO is part of BASF's strategy to create a more focused and agile business. It aims to unlock the full potential of its agrochemicals division, which has been a key part of my business's portfolio.
