Basel Cantonal Bank unveils top Swiss stock picks for 2026 with 31% upside potential

Basel Cantonal Bank (BKB) has released its top Swiss stock picks for 2026, highlighting ten companies in a new tracker certificate. The bank's latest report, Unsere Schweizer Aktienfavoriten 2026, features firms like Amrize Ltd. and Givaudan SA, each weighted equally at 10%. Investors now have a fresh opportunity to follow these selections in a structured product. The bank's chosen stocks have seen improved valuations, with the average price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio dropping from 20.1x to 17.4x. BKB remains optimistic about global economic stability, despite a difficult start to 2026. The institution treats periods of geopolitical uncertainty as buying opportunities, viewing market dips as chances to strengthen positions rather than risks. Financially, the bank itself is performing well. In 2025, net profit climbed by 8.8% to CHF 202.8 million, driven by robust net interest income. Its shares now trade at CHF 111.50, close to a 52-week peak of CHF 114.00. Shareholders will receive an annual dividend of CHF 3.60 per participation certificate, with the ex-dividend date set for March 27, 2026, and payments issued on March 31, 2026. Under its *Strategy 2026+* plan, BKB continues to diversify revenue streams, reinforcing its position in the Swiss financial sector.

The tracker certificate offers investors a straightforward way to access BKB's top ten stock picks. With a clear dividend schedule and a focus on long-term growth, the bank positions itself as a stable choice amid market fluctuations. The selected stocks, combined with the bank's own strong performance, provide a structured approach to navigating 2026's financial landscape.
