AVI-SPL, the world's leading commercial AV integrator, has been acquired by private equity firm H.I.G. Capital. The deal, which closed recently, sees the company's CEO, John Zettel, expressing optimism about the partnership.

AVI-SPL, with over 1,500 employees across 35 global locations, has been at the forefront of the AV industry for over a decade. Since 2008, the company has completed over 35,000 AV and video collaboration deployments, cementing its status as the largest player in the market.
