Apple announces $0.26 dividend after record $416B fiscal year

Apple has declared a dividend of $0.26 per share, payable on Thursday, November 13. This follows a strong fiscal year, marked by record revenue and robust growth in key sectors.

The tech giant's capital return program has seen over $24 billion flow back to shareholders in the last quarter, including $20 billion in share buybacks. This dividend is a part of that program.

Apple's fiscal year closed with total revenue of $416 billion. The fourth quarter alone brought in a record $102.5 billion, an 8% year-over-year increase. Both the iPhone division and Services sector delivered record revenues. The Services sector hit an all-time high of $28.8 billion, a 15% increase. Earnings per share surged 13% to $1.85, surpassing analyst estimates.

Looking ahead, Apple forecasts double-digit revenue growth for the current quarter, driven by strong demand for the new iPhone 17. Despite substantial returns to shareholders, the company remains bullish for the current quarter.
