A $19.5M Nevada Estate Near Red Rock Canyon Hits the Market

A lavish Nevada estate near Red Rock Canyon has hit the market for $19.5 million. The 10,000-square-foot limestone home, built in 2006, sits on two acres with sweeping mountain views. Owners Michael and Jenna Morton, part of the family behind Morton's The Steakhouse, have decided to sell now that their children have grown up.

The property was custom-designed by architect Richard Luke and includes a main residence plus a guesthouse. Together, they offer seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Outside, the grounds feature two swimming pools, a spa, fireside lounges, and a full outdoor bar and kitchen. A 60-foot water slide and six-car garage add to the estate's luxury appeal.

Multiple courtyards and terraces provide panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The Mortons, who also own the Morton Group operating several Las Vegas restaurants, plan to downsize nearby. Jenna Morton, an archaeologist by training, and her husband Michael—son of Morton's The Steakhouse founder Arnie Morton—have listed the home with Kristen Routh-Silberman of Douglas Elliman. The sale comes as the luxury market near Red Rock Canyon has surged. Over the past five years, median prices for high-end homes in the area have jumped by 45–60%, from around $1.2 million to over $2 million. Demand from affluent buyers, low inventory, and post-pandemic relocation trends have driven the increase.

The Mortons' estate joins a competitive luxury market in Nevada. With its resort-style amenities and prime location, the property targets buyers seeking both privacy and proximity to Las Vegas. The couple intend to build a smaller home nearby after the sale.
